Devil and Miss Prym by Paulo Coelho

I don’t know why, but after I read about The Alchemist from Paulo Coelho, I read another book, The Devil and Miss Prym. I don’t really understand, but this book leave impression in me. The most thing I remember here is about the heroine’s inner turmoil (I mean Miss Prym). Paulo write the war between the angel and the devil inside her thought really impressive. Until, her though come to surface, as a action.
Well, if you don’t really know the story about, you can read here (from Wikipedia.org). The thing I want to tell you here is, about Miss Prym’s decision at the end to the stranger’s offer. Let’s see, if she is me, I thought I really have no idea to come to that decision. Really! Maybe I am a coward, but honest, when it comes to money and dead life situation, such this one, people will prefer to leave it as the others want, I mean do the other people do. I really admire her strength, her back bone, her value to the life. I do!
Here, I learn that may people such as the stranger in this story really exist in the real world. Maybe I and you are one of them too. We sometimes questioning on the thing in inner thought of people, where is the angel (as the good side) exist now? I mean look at the fact, once when natural disaster happen and the help comes until the entire thing overflow or some other area in shortage. But still, may you find people who do the unacceptable thing. For example, some people take the things for the victims and then sell it with high price. So much for good, is it? Or too much love to money, are you? Well, let’s look back to ourselves. Find out, how to fight ‘the devil’ inside our head or ‘our heart’. Maybe we will find the better life.

Letters To Kelly by Suzanne Brockmann

There are the hero who is falling madly in love with the heroine, but the heroine doesn’t believe him because of one broken promise is typical plot for romance novel. But, it can be a great story when you give spicy in it. Maybe that’s way I love this book. The characters, the story, the plot, or the way point of view is given. I love it! Even though, sometimes I got confuse because the e-book I read nave no separation between point of view and other. Well, still I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I love it because the hero is an author, I mean romance novel author and he make his own character appear. It’s funny actually. Looking at their relationship between the writer and the character, make me wonder about the real writer. Sometimes a character would not do as the writer please, he or she will complain. Here is the funny part!

I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore

I don't know about the movie, but I find "I am number four" novel is quite an interesting reading material for me. Tale about nine kids from a neighbor planet of Earth with their keeper (such as a guardian, I think). This aliens (Yeah, I can call them that, am I?), have to run for their life from their enemy, the one who destroy their planet. In order to keep the last nine, they're given a charm. That their enemy only can destroy them in order (one-two-three-...-nine). If they try to do otherwise, they will find the dead for themselves (such, if you pull the string in number four without killed in order, the bulled will come back to you - you dead- I think ^_^). So, the nine go to one place to another and apart (to make the enemy hard to find them and kill in order).

I love the 'fantasy' part, and the 'adventure' part. When, number four got his ability (the super power). When they have to go to one place and another. When they found their self in life-dead fight. Ha..ha..., Oh yeah about the love between the human and the alien too... I can make up anything I want in my head, because I can fantasize as good as I want. I wonder, how the story goes after this. I mean, I know that number six is appear in this story. Still, number four and six have to find another to fight their enemy.

I think, the cutest thing here is the dog. Well, you will find the dog, which is really not a dog (from Earth definition). It comes from the alien planet, and it can change form. When it be a dragon, I dream is as great as in the other fantasy movie such as Eragon. I don't know, I quite like this little character.
